| A miserable conman and his partner pose as Santa and his Little Helper to rob department stores on Christmas Eve. But they run into problems when the conman befriends a troubled kid. /// The crotchety Willie T. Soke (Billy Bob Thornton) and his partner (Tony Cox) reunite once a year for a holiday con. Posing as a mall Santa and his elf, they rip off shopping outlets on Christmas Eve. This year, however, Willie is falling apart. Depressed and alcoholic, his erratic behavior draws the suspicion of mall security (Bernie Mac). But after befriending a small boy, a different side comes out and Willie begins to wonder if there's still some hope for him. |
