An unlikely encounter between a gourmet wine producer and a rebellious young girl living on the fringe, which he takes on as a cook. Monsters both, neither one knows what secrets the other is hiding... While she and her girlfriend are pulling off hold-ups to raise cash for opening their own bar, he kills his wife for serving him a bad celery remoulade. Through the Monbazillac vines a game of cat and mouse ensues, while the simpleton farmhand looks on. Scenes of gastronomy alternate with scenes of murder... and the outcome is always uncertain. |
