Silent Night, Baywatch Night: Part 1 (1994) S5.E11
In the week before Christmas, Mitch and Hobie take in a strange 10-year-old girl, named Joey, who turns out to be a professional con artist on the run from a local bookie after Joey's mother Kyla, a drifter and professional hustler, has stolen $10,000 from the bookie. When Kyla lands in jail, Joey cons Hobie into helping her raise money in order to bail her out after she misplaces the package with the stolen cash. Meanwhile, C.J. helps out with a local church program for homeless children and is attracted to the young priest, Father Sam Ryan. A lonely and depressed Matt gets into the holiday spirit when a group of dwarfs, led by one named Benny, hang out in front of his lifeguard tower every day and Matt suspects they may be actually be Santa's elves after they decorate his tower for Christmas. Also, Tracy (who is revealed to be hiding some health problems) gets depressed about not having a White Christmas and Mitch decides on a plan to help her out.

Mitch and Hobie finally learn the truth about Joey and her imprisoned mother from Garner, while Joey desperately tries to find the stolen cash that is sought after by the bookie and his henchman. Meanwhile, C.J. wonders if Father Ryan has a thing for her when he offers to resign from his church ministry. Mitch takes Tracy out for a romantic dinner at his lifeguard tower and finally gives her a White Christmas, courtesy of a snow machine given to him by Benny and his "elves".

Amanda persuades Peter to start seeing a therapist when he starts acting insanely jealous and manic-mannered, especially when he creates an ugly scene at a business dinner with Craig. Meanwhile, Jane persuades Sherri to spend the Christmas holiday with her, where she tells Jane more about her past. Samantha goes to an art gallery auction to try to recover one of her paintings that Sydney sold to Kyle and pocketed the money, and Billy tries to get another painting away from Craig that he keeps in his office. Sydney meets a reclusive millionaire, named Carter Galivan, whom she hopes he will buy the painting she is trying to sell. Kimberly tells Megan of a plan to kill herself to end all of Michael's fiscal problems. Jake sweeps away Alison's holiday blues with a vacation to Park City, Utah, which turns less than cheerful. Also, Matt starts seeing Dan's possessive side when he showers him with assorted gifts.

Cooper secretly intervenes when Michael's wooing of Megan with expensive gifts makes her hesitant about a divorce. Jennifer also gets Cooper to drop his lawsuit against Michael while she blackmails Lexi about the hit-and-run cover up for some of Cooper's alimony. But this forces Lexi over the deep end when she nearly overdoses on pills. Singer Jon Secada arrives in town and agrees to help his old friends Kyle and Taylor save the Jazz Club with a Christmas Eve concert. Meanwhile, Connie stirs up more trouble between Samantha and Billy when Samantha refuses to believe Billy's true claim that Connie made a pass at him, which is all revealed to be part of Connie's plan to break them up and make Samantha as lonely as she. Also, Amanda seeks to reconcile with Kyle whose continuing jealousy and suspicion push her away.
