At Christmastime, Mary Jo is upset because her son Quinton doesn't believe in Santa Claus and sets up a trap to prove it. Charlene, who plays Santa at her church, stops by to give him a surprise (with Anthony as an elf). Suzanne decides to surprise them and send a department-store Santa over there. Anthony gets caught and breaks his ankle, and the department store Santa steals the tree and all of the presents.

Walt Disney World celebrates its 25th Anniversary during the 1996 Very Merry Christmas Party with three parades from the Magic Kingdom, the television debut of the Walt Disney World 25th Anniversary Parade along the 25th Anniversary Cinderella Castle Cake Makeover. From the Disney MGM Studios, it’s the Toy Story Parade and a special edition of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parade.
This year’s parade hosts are from Step by Step Suzanne Somers, from Coach Jerry Van Dyke with special guests JD Roth and Brianne Leary from Walt Disney World’s Inside-Out. Direct from New York City and the Beauty and the Beast Broadway production, it’s Gary Beach, performers include Sandi Patty, and Disney Voices Ernie Sabella, Sam Wright, and a special appearance from Lisa Ann Walter. Allison and Julia argue about what to do for The Yuletide Homes tour. Believing they are being ripped off, Rusty lets them in to check. Mary Jo and Julia look under the bed to check Chuck Tremaine's reputation as a ladies man. When they hear him with the weather girl, they are stuck under the bed. The other ladies go home without them, leaving them worried.
Carlene and Anthony feel inferior to classmates, so they decide to become study mates. Anthony finds himself intimidated by a professor who becomes interested in Carlene and invites her to class.
