When two executives, Becca and William, at a top marketing firm in Chicago are sent to William's hometown of Kringle Lake to rediscover the spirit of Christmas - they begin to find it, and more, in each other.
Federal marshal Jessica "Jessie" Temple must keep mob informant and ladies man Dean Cupo, safe until he testifies the day after Christmas, but the scorned mob boss' wife, a case of mistaken identity (with a mall Santa Claus), an overly amorous mayor, a pugnacious hit man and a hide-out town bubbling over with holiday cheer derail the mission.
