The story of a tiny village like any other, except that these villagers tend to be so forgetful, over and over. This year they are forgetting that it's time for Christmas.
Follows a group of people who arrive at Oslo airport, some to welcome their loved ones, some to fly home to their families, and others who want to fly away and escape Christmas. (6 episodes)
Mischievous, quick-witted Lillebror has just moved into town and not made any friends yet. One day he discovers a twig--Knerten--in a pile of firewood, and this becomes his imaginary friend. When his mother gets a job in a general store and his father is traveling for his underwear-salesman job, Lillebror must manage on his own most of the day. With Knerten in hand, he encounters a new everyday rural life filled with colorful characters and challenges. But can a pine twig be a real friend? And can his family afford to stay in the rundown house?
Princess Fjellrose has never been outside the safe mountain, until her father is sick and dying. Only humans down in the valley can save him. She goes on a dangerous journey, and put their world in danger, in spite of her good intentions.
