| Anita (Judy Ann Santos), a mother of three who has no idea how to raise her children after her husband's unexpected demise. Her youngest child starves to death soon after that and such tragic loss finally makes her lose hope for their future. As such, she decides to end their poverty-stricken lives by poisoning her kids. Anita's attempt to take the easy way out fails, however, as her eldest son Seloy catches her in the act and puts his sibling in the care of their nearest relatives instead.
