In 2020, De Kretsman recorded a great Christmas show with top artists such as Christoff, Maureen, Koen Crucke, Ianthe Tavernier and many others, despite the lockdown happening at the time.
In each episode, Gert tells, seated under the Christmas tree, with some additions by Samson, a short story they experienced, usually wintry or otherwise Christmas-related. Illustrations are shown on screen from the cartoon which originally published the adventure.
