A book editor must work with a former rival to help a potential writer find her way. He reminds all of them about the Christmas spirit and the value of community.
This Christmas, Julia (Cory Lee) has one wish: to finally finish writing a cookbook. In order to do so, she decides to venture over to a small town whose bakery is famous for its gingerbread. She unexpectedly ruffles feathers when she meets the chef who created the recipe (Yannick Bisson) and he's not too thrilled to see someone try to take his creation.
During a business trip to Indiana, event planner Kayley (Davis) and sports agent Brett (Renaud) find themselves unable to fly home for Christmas due to a terrible snowstorm. Determined to get back to New York by Christmas Eve, the two team up and try to make their own way home, but when the storm hits, they’re forced to seek refuge in the sleepy town of Redwood, Ohio; a place that ignites some much-needed Christmas magic in their hearts.
