While Christmas shopping, Mr Bean purchases a bulky string of tree lights before making a shambles of a department store toy section. He later manages to acquire a free turkey and Christmas tree, and attempts to conduct a Salvation Army band. Finally, during Christmas dinner, Bean has quite a surprise in store for his long-suffering girlfriend.

Bernard Bottle, a mild mannered art buyer, is fired by his greedy boss, abandoned by his girlfriend and discovers a genie in an old bottle. The genie immediately embraces the modern world and helps Bernard on the side. /// Bernard is fired from his job and his girlfriend leaves him, both on Christmas Eve. The girlfriend takes all of his possessions with her, leaving behind only an old lamp. His Christmas suddenly becomes brighter when he rubs it.
It's Christmas with Mr. Bean! He first goes shopping at Harrod's and plays with the Nativity Scene, next he wins a turkey and conducts an orchestra in his own goofy way. Next, when the Christmas tree lot has run out of trees, he takes the big one in town square. On Christmas morning, Mr. Bean finds a stocking in his stocking. Irma, his girl friend, is coming over for dinner and Mr. Bean's got the turkey on...his head! Irma's gift to Bean is a classic ship and Bean got her a picture, but she didn't like it; then, in the next episode, Mr. Bean is staying in a hotel by the sea. He does some renovating, tries some "tainted" clams, and gets locked out of his room.
