The program inspired by the A&M Records release titled "A Very Special Christmas," features an all-star line-up of contemporary pop music artists performing their own stylistic renditions of holiday songs. This was filmed on a sound stage at KTLA-TV on Sunset Blvd by the Hollywood 101 freeway.

Sir Hugo (Sir Alan Bates) is more interested in reconstructing dinosaur bones than in paying attention to his wife, Lady Harriet (Theresa Russell).
