The return of the lost shepherd: When a young priest is transferred to another parish for Christmas Eve, his faith is put to the test only hours away from the Midnight Mass he has to deliver.
One evening, two fairies - Worry and Fortune with their young assistant Mina - are walking through old Prague. As it is Fortune's birthday, she decides to give people a gift - she enchants quite ordinary slippers to fulfill the wearer's every wish. The slippers then change hands that evening and everything they have ever dreamed of suddenly becomes a reality. But what people wish for is often very tricky, and it may not always bring one the desired happiness. Rather, it happens to be misery. Even Fortune becomes convinced of this when she realizes that happiness is something everyone must earn for themselves.
Continuation of the series about the emergency medical service which was highly popular in the 1980s, featuring some of the original characters - for instance doctor Jandera, his great love Eliska, and brother Jarda with his girlfriend Alzbeta.
On a barricade, together with other citizens,Stepánek, Havel, Vávra, Drda, or Vítezslav Nezval were on it. And because they are Bohemians, they take a sip of wine for courage. A German tank is approaching and everyone thinks that their last hour has come. In the end, the war is over.
