| The film presents the history of the family and the relationships within it. The central character is Kamil - a husband, father and grandfather, working as a doctor. For 40 years, in addition to his family and married life, he has had a second relationship with another woman, a long-time friend whom he met in September 1939. The man cannot regulate his position, which causes him anxiety and stress. The other family members - his wife and children - know about his relationship and tolerate it, but this causes tension at home. This is also the case on Christmas Eve, when the whole family sits at the table and despite their best efforts, it is not a completely happy time for them. Then, as usual, Kamil goes to his friend. |
