A recent divorcee and her young son move to a small Georgia town to start anew. Mason befriends a lonely, recently widowed older man, and together they attempt to save several abandoned puppies hiding in the thick kudzu brush. Their love, fath and determination help them cope with loss and separation and realize the blessings they share during the holiday season. Ms. Marin appears as the social worker offering Gaitus Stevens (John Lawhorn) a job as a school crossing guard, where he meets the young Mason.
Denis Leary and a cast of many others celebrate Christmas Leary-style. Packed with original music and skits, this is a great spin on the usual holiday fluff.
A woman learns that her husband has been having a very open affair with his secretary and has promised marriage. The wife sues for divorce and also sues the secretary based on an obscure law on alienation of affection, which was created to protect married couples from homewreckers. This sets a new court room consideration, as the culpability of the other woman must be defended and removes from consideration the fault of the married partners.
