The Christmas season doesn't mean any less work for Jon and Ponch. At the community church, thieves run off with a 15th century bell that means a great deal to the local kids. The thieves also operate a car-theft ring and prey on unsuspecting car sellers by taking the cars for a test drive and not returning. When the criminals get into an auto accident, their strange behavior gives them away and they are arrested.

Brady wakes up in bed wishing and kissing Chloe merry Christmas. The Brady Christmas party focuses on Jack's posthumous baby, until Roman and Kate who first celebrated alone, as each-others dream-gifts in bed, he considering a fast date, while Kate insists to wait until the killer is caught, come tell the wedding date is tomorrow. Bonnie surprises Mikey with an elaborate Christmas breakfast and a CD, to his discrete horror Country, they join the Brady children hospital ward story reading.
E.J. checks on Sami's lie she had to leave him because Will had an appendectomy, but although unwarned the knave plays along and fakes a convincing wound. Max's efforts allow breaking trough the fake wall, which leads to a room containing only an old armoire. Inside is a skeleton dressed in a Confeederate uniform, carrying a pistol. Max tries to shoot the lock with it, but gets injured when it explodes. Lucas accepts to let Sami trick-seduce E.J., provided he can supervise the operation, which seems to go well. E.J. still calls Patrick for to speed up the revenge finale. Chelsea and Steph fail to 'warn' Abby Max would be an incorrigible heart-breaker.
