Ninna lives with her son Dennis in Præstø, Denmark, where she also works at the local barbecue. As Dennis turns 18 close to Christmas, Ninna throws a surprise party for him. Most surprised however, is Ninna herself, because in the midst of all the glory Dennis announces that he has found his own apartment and intends to move out from his childhood home.
