The final "Alamo" episode is set during the Christmas holidays, as McCloud helps a suicidal woman on a window ledge, deals with a psychotic stalker, and tries to rescue "Santa" Clifford and Chris, who are held hostage in a children's ward at a hospital by three drug thieves.

Christmas is approaching, and Arnie and his wife are planning their usual Christmas gift to everyone they know -- a batch of homemade cookies. Because Mr. Majors promoted him to the executive suite, Arnie plans to reward him with a double batch. But he is soon chagrined to learn that it's traditional for the executives to give a more personal -- and expensive -- gift to the company president.
A young girl is left with the notoriously cheap Sorrowful Jones as a marker for a bet. Her father disappears and he learns that taking care of her cramps his free-wheeling life. Sorrowful must evade gangsters and do some horse-thieving.
